Privacy Policy

Estimfy ("we", "us", "our") operates the Estimfy platform at estimfy.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Service.

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address. If you sign up with a social provider (Google, Apple, or Microsoft), we receive your email address from that provider. We do not receive or store your social account password.

Business information: Business name (provided during registration), pricing variables, and other settings you configure.

Estimate and client data: The content you enter while creating estimates — project descriptions, line items, client names, contact details — is stored to provide the Service to you.

Usage data: We record how many AI credits you consume per session for billing purposes. We do not store the full content of your AI conversations beyond what you explicitly save as an estimate.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card number or bank details.

Cookies and session data: We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function and does not track you across other websites.

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• To process subscription payments and manage your credit balance
• To send transactional communications (billing receipts, team invitations)
• To enforce our Terms and Conditions and prevent abuse
• To improve the Service based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your estimate content to train AI models.

We share data with the following third parties only to the extent necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored in their managed PostgreSQL service.
• Anthropic — AI provider. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate estimate content. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their handling of this data.
• Stripe — payment processing. Your billing information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on account registration and login forms.
• Google / Apple / Microsoft — if you choose to sign in with a social provider, your authentication is handled by their OAuth services.

We use only strictly necessary cookies:

• Session cookie: Keeps you authenticated while using the Service. Deleted when you sign out.

When you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, those providers may set their own cookies governed by their respective privacy policies. These are set only when you initiate the sign-in action.

We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

Shared estimate links become inaccessible when you delete an estimate or your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app. The updated policy will be effective when posted.
